Check out some of the ministries to children at our church.

Children's Church

The Children's Church at Calvary Baptist Church focuses on teaching our children to love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.  The Children's Church services are held during the main worship hour on Sunday morning.  The Children's Church services are located in the Children's Center in the back of the church.

We divide our Children's Church into age and grade appropriate classrooms, from the four-year olds to the 5th grade.   The children sing songs and play games that help illustrate the Bible lesson.  When conveying the message of Christ, we use many different learning tools including visuals and puppets.  Many of the children accept Christ as their Savior because they hear and understand the gospel on their level.

Calvary Clubs

The Calvary Clubs were started in 1990 and meet every Wednesday night from September through May.  The age groups are divided 4 years through the 6th grade.  Each Wednesday night the children meet in the main auditorium with the congregation and then break into their clubs.  During club time they have a Bible lesson, memorize scripture, learn valuable lessons on character traits, and earn badges and awards.  There are many fun nights through out the year (called "Big Nights") where the clubbers meet in the gym and have snacks and special games.

Calvary Clubs help our children come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior at an early age and then grow in the wisdom and knowledge of our Lord.  If you have a love for children please consider being a part of this rewarding ministry.  Please call our church office for more details.

Children's Choirs

Children at Calvary can be a member of a children's choir that sings on Wednesday night.  There are two choirs for children.  There is a choir for ages 4-2nd grade and a choir for 3rd-6th grade.  They meet at 6:55 pm on Wednesday night for practice.  The choirs alternate weeks for singing in the Wednesday night service.
