Nursery
At Calvary Baptist Church nurseries are provided during regularly scheduled services and special meetings (e.g. revivals or missions conferences). We strive to make your child's time in our nursery a safe and happy time. While you are attending our Sunday school classes and worship services, trained workers are taking care of your child.
We take care of your child as you would at home - lovingly tending to their basic needs. When you enter your child into the nursery you will be given a security card with the child's assigned number on it. We use security cards as a safety measure to ensure that only you can check your child out of the nursery. A visual paper screen is located in the front of the church auditorium on either side of the wall. If you are needed in the nursery, your child's card number will appear on the screen.
We teach the children about God and the Bible according to their developmental levels, beginning with Christian storybooks in the one-year olds. We have Bible lessons, singing, and handwork in the two-year olds and three-year olds at every service. In the infant nursery the babies are shown the love of God through the workers loving care for them.
If you have questions about our nurseries please ask a nursery worker, assistant nursery director, or the nursery director for more information. We would be happy to talk with you about any of your concerns. Our goal is to make the nursery department a happy, healthy, and safe place for your child. |
