Sunday School

The Bible tells us we are to study God's Word.  "Study to show thyself approved unto God a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."  II Timothy 2:15.  We believe every member of Calvary Baptist Church should be faithful to Sunday School.  We strive to provide classes where everyone will feel at home and have the needs of their lives met.  Calvary Baptist Church offers a wide variety of classes for children, teens, and adults.  Our adult classes are listed below.

College and Career Class - This class consist of members that are graduated from high school and have moved onto college or a job career and are single.  The proposed ages for this class are from 18 until 28.

Partners for Christ Class - This class is designed for couples newly married up to those married for approximately 8 years.  The ages typically range from 20 to 40.

Homebuilders Class - This class is designed for those couples who have been married for more than 8 years. The ages typically range from 30 to 50, and they usually have children in the teenage years.

Calvary Bible Class - This class is designed around couples that have children who have left home and who have been married for more than 18 years.  The ages typically range from 40 to 60.

Discovery Bible Class - This class is designed to introduce new members to Calvary's Sunday School program.  Age groups vary and both couples and singles are welcome.

Auditorium Class - This class is designed around married couples who have been married more than 20 years and singles who are young at heart.  The ages are typically 45 and older.

Ladies Prayerful Hearts Class - This class is designed around women who desire to have Bible studies in a ladies group environment.  The are typically aged from 35 to 65.

Ladies Yielded Vessels Class - This class is designed for women who desire to have Bible studies in a ladies group environment. They are typically age from 25 to 50.

Men's Class - This class is designed for men seeking to participate in Bible study in a group environment.  The ages vary from about 28 to 65.

Foundations of Faith Class - This class is designed around members who are newly saved or who have joined the church recently and are seeking to get grounded in God's Word.  This runs in 13 week cycles.  Participants in this class would move on to one of the above listed classes at the end of the 13 week period.
