Music Ministry

Our music is chosen and sung to edify and reach the hearts of every listener, and effectively helps each of us worship our Lord.  We provide good, wholesome, spiritually correct music to help us enjoy our worship.  Choir practice is held on Sunday evenings from 5:45 pm to 6:40 pm in the choir rehearsal room.  The Adult Choir sings in the Sunday morning and Sunday evening worship services.

The Children's and Teen Choirs range in age from 4 years old through the 12th grade.  Children at Calvary can be a member of a children's choir that sings on Wednesday night.  There are two choirs for children.  There is a choir for ages 4-2nd grade and a choir for 3rd-6th grade.  They meet at 6:55 pm on Wednesday night for practice.  The choirs alternate weeks for singing in the Wednesday night service. 

The Teen Choir, grades 7 through 12, practice every Wednesday night at 6:45 pm, just before Teen Bible Study.  The Teen Choir provides all the special music for the evening service on the first Sunday night of each month during the school year.  This allows the young people of our church the opportunity to sing in a choir setting as well as in smaller groups for the church.

Our music program provides an important part of our worship to the Lord.  Our choir directors for each of the age groups would love to talk to you and have you and/or your children join the choir.
