Care Ministry

The key to this ministry is in the word "care".  The Care Ministry is involved in many different aspects of reaching out and helping others.  When a first time guest visits the church, a care ministry member will adopt them and take care of them during the time that they are with us for the service.  This would include showing them to their Sunday School class, nursery, main auditorium, etc.  This same Care Ministry member will be responsible for the "Cookie Visit" from the Care Ministry the following Monday night.  The visitor receives a dozen home made cookies and an invitation to join us again.  The team member will stay with that member until they become a member of our church.

If you are an outgoing person and concerned with helping others and having an impact on their lives, you may be interested in becoming a Care Ministry team member.  The Care Ministry teams have regular meetings and are trained on how to reach out to people who are hurting or in need of a friend.
