The Jail Ministry was founded in 1989 and reaches out to both male and female inmates.  The Jail Ministry team members meet every Tuesday night at 7:00 pm with the exception of the first Tuesday of every month.  The men and women meet at the church, get the materials that will be distributed, including Bible, tracts, biblical pamphlets, etc., and go to the Stokes County Jail in Danbury, North Carolina.

The women meet with female inmates and hold Bible studies; the men meet with the male inmates and preach.  There have been numerous inmates saved through this ministry to forgotten people.  In 2003, there were over 45 Jail Ministry team members.

If you would be interested in the Jail Ministry, an open invitation is given to come and go with us.  We are willing to train anyone who would like to go on a regular basis.  Please call the church office for details.
