Visitation Ministry

Our visitation ministry is divided into many visiting opportunities which include rest home, shut-in, hospital, soul winning, and follow-up visitation for first time visitors.  The visitation program meets on Monday night at 7:00 pm in the church foyer.  We have a time of singing and prayer before going out visiting.   Visitor cards are made available to the visitation teams and the cards are selected for visits.  This is an excellent time to share the gospel, and to give encouragement in the Lord.  Every Monday night we also visit our members, relatives and friends of members, which are in the nursing home or are shut-in at their own home due to illness or disability.

To become an active participant in our visitation ministry is a rewarding experience.  If you are interested in working in our visitation ministry, please join us on Monday night at 7:00 pm in the church foyer or call call the church office and speak with Pastor Vernon.

Rest Home Ministry

The rest home ministry reaches out to residents in four area rest home every Wednesday of the month at 10:00 am and a special preaching service is held every Sunday.  The members will either meet every Wednesday at the nursing home or the church to travel together in the van.  Special songs are sung and the Word of God is shared with these older citizens.  A Sunday service is held at Universal Care every Sunday at 2:00 pm.
